What Is and What Should Never Be was the exploration of Dean's desire to change the past. What if Mary Winchester had never died? What if Jessica Moore had never died? What if John lived a full and happy life? What if Sammy was about to graduate from law school? What if Dean could fix anything and everything on four wheels? What if Dean and Sam have a little sister?

What if this was the way life really was for the Winchester family?

Mary is a proud mother and housewife. John and Dean successfully run Winchester Auto. Sam will be graduating soon. Jessica's thriving as a talent scout for one of the most highly rated modeling agencies in the United States. All is right and good with the world.

They say lightning never strikes the same place twice. But what happens when...

Jake chuckled lightly as Kassidy looked at him in shock and he instantly regretted hiring her. Hotel Britz wanted a consierge who was sly and cheeky, and had many good contacts to get the certain things guests wanted. He took a deep breath and rubbed his tired eyes, knowing he should have gotten his old consierge to do the hiring. Even more, he wished Max had never decided to retire.

I understand, Jake, though maybe I will need some help now and then to get used to how things are run around here.

Dean pulled a face as he lent back in his chair. "Maybe I could get one of our current staff to let you know?" he asked, his voice rising up. Janet on reception had been there for a while, she could fill Kassidy in it all. "I assure you most of our staff are friendly, and will explain our, let's say, un-written code."

if it is in the best interest of the hotel

Jake smiled toothily and rested his arms on the desk in-front of him. "Thank-you Kassidy," he beamed, thankful she understood.

Jake laughed and ruffled his hair a little bit as he smiled. "We get some rowdy guests sometimes. Footballers, rock stars, etc, so sometimes or suites aren't kept as tidy as we want them. Sometime we get some rude guests, and when they are extremely offensive to some of our staff, we cook them up one of our 'special breakfasts'."

He chuckled lightly as Kassidy blinked and opened her mouth, but decided against saying anything as it was perhaps better that she didn't know about...these 'special breakfasts' and whatever they might have contained. A couple of weeks ago, when she had mentioned that she was thinking about becoming a concierge now that she had graduated, her sister Amy had recommended that she should apply at the Hotel Britz and she was soon accepted...that was a bit of trick.

Amy must have known that she never paid much attention to the celebrity gossip, never read anything that would have explicitly mentioned the sort of scandals that took place at the Hotel Britz...Kassidy didn't know what she getting into here, though now she was able to guess. Still, with the shock gone, she wasn't willing to walk out now, not so soon after getting the job, especially when Amy would tease her about such an act. It was her reputation at risk now, but she would not quit, she would face whatever trouble she might encounter here and maybe change a few things too...all for the gold plaque and the Golden Keys.

Jake smiled wryly and sighed as he admitted, "No, you're right, Kassidy. But, we pride ourselves in the fact we give people what they want. There are many, erm, non-legitimate services in our hotel. Would you like another member of staff to explain these to you? Or do you understand?"

Kassidy cleared her throat and slowly nodded as she replied, "I understand, Jake, though maybe I will need some help now and then to get used to how things are run around here. Still, I think I'll be able to manage well enough and I'm willing to accommodate the guests of the Hotel Britz and their...desires to a certain degree, if it is in the best interest of the hotel."

The Hidden Planet
A Doctor Who Based RP Game
[image]

The Hidden Planet of Frillagye, was hidden out of the Time War, away from Gallifrey and the Daleks, until a ship caught in a Galactic Storm forced a large ship onto the planet, the passengers; Magon. A long lived, power holding race, like superhumans.

Days later a mass city smashed onto a larger island of the planet, this held the race of Satrions; an intelligent, bright eyed humanoid race. But peace did not ensue for these two races and in the middle of a raging fifteen year war none noticed the arrival of an unknown group of survivors from a wide spreading universal war. They went unnoticed.

Two years after the Satrion race narrowly won the war a lone human found her way onto Frillagye and, amazed at her own arrival, seeked council with a group on the planet. She came back enlightened and began to live a life as ordinary as she could with the Satrions (Magon now being feared by the race and forced to live on a small island of their own). More humanoids found their ways into the Satrion city and made it a thriving community.

…And then on one seemingly ordinary day, a Blue box appeared in the City Centre and since then nothing seems to have gone right…

What do you mean?

Jake laughed and ruffled his hair a little bit. "We get some rowdy guests sometimes," he smiled, "Footballers, rock stars, etc, so sometimes or suites aren't kept as tidy as we want them. Sometime we get some rude guests, and when they are extremely offensive to some of our staff, we cook them up one of our 'special breakfasts'." He chuckled lightly, remembering the last lot who had recieved one of these breakfasts. They were a load of sexist buisnessmen who had been very rude to the check-in girl Janet. Jake hated it when people upset his staff. He loved his staff and liked making sure they were okay.

I understand, Mr. White. I'm just wondering...is that quite legitimate? What sort of clientele are we serving that they can expect such...service?

Jake smiled wryly and sighed. So she was one of those types. He knew he should have left the hiring to his old consierge. Him and Jake had mantained a sort of close friendship. "No, you're right, Kassidy," he admitted, "But, we pride ourselves in the fact we give people what they want. There are many, erm, non-legitimate services in our hotel. Would you like another member of staff to explain these to you? Or do you understand?" he asked, hoping she still wanted her job.

Jake smiled as he wrote on a post-it and said, "Thank you."

Kassidy couldn't help smiling as well while Jake chewed on the end of the pen before he lightly laughed. "Trust me, when you begin working here, you will see Hotel Britz is not so elegant."

"What do you mean?" Kassidy inquired, but as the manager asked what she knew about 'regular members' and she answered as best as she could, when she didn't quite understand the question the way he had phased it, he nodded along even though he appeared a little confused.

At last, he shook his head and laughed again as he linked his fingers together and rested his elbows on the table. "You have obviously been trained according to the book...how can I explain this?"

Jake rested back in his chair and Kassidy tried not to seem impatient as he finally continued, "Our hotel provides many services for our guests. Most of our regular guests are aware of this. You should be aware of these also. For example, if a man came over to you, and he had no lady friend staying in the hotel with him, and he asked for an extra pillow, you would organise a lady friend for him. If you get what I mean..."

Kassidy sat there for a moment, staring at the manager as her head tilted slightly and she bit her lip; at last, she managed to say, "I understand, Mr. White. I'm just wondering...is that quite legitimate? What sort of clientele are we serving that they can expect such...service?"

All right...Jake

Jake smiled thankfully as she called him by his first name. He felt more at ease now they were on first name terms. A lot of his employees seemed more like friends then workers. "Thank you," he grinned, before righting something down on a postet and beginning to chew on the end of the pen.

I suppose I'm a little uncertain about what to expect. It's just that the Hotel Britz seems so elegant and I thought that its staff would be...well, a little more strict about such propriety

Jake laughed lightly. "Trust me, when you begin working here, you will see Hotel Britz is not so elegant," he chuckled. Hotel Britz might have looked posh to the un-trained eye, but the regular staff knew how rock and roll this place could be. Staff may have been polite and smiles to the guests, but to eachother, they were all a huge group of friends and far from elegant. He laughed to himself as he remembered the christmas party. But it wasn't just the staff who could be wild, the guests played a huge part in it all too. Rock stars trashed the suites, politicions bought in the papprazzi, and when football teams come in before a match, the amount of protitutes and drugs coming in and out were insane.

Jake nodded and pulled a face of confusion as she went on about the various things she had been trained in. He shook his head and laughed as she had finished. He did not wish to sound rude but what he had asked had earned him a totally different answer. "You have obviously been trained according to the book," he explained, linking his fingers together and resting his elbows on the table. "How can I explain this?" Jake rested back in his chair and tried to think of an easy way to explain it. "Our hotel provides many services for our guests. Most of our regular guests are aware of this. You should be aware of these also. For example, if a man came over to you, and he had no lady friend staying in the hotel with him, and he asked for an extra pillow, you would organise a lady friend for him. If you get what I mean..."
